Kazakhstans economy will expand 2.5-3 times by 2020, Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev has stated. He noted that GDP per capita would reach USD 10,000-12,000 in 2020. Nazarbayev also urged not to slow down the pace of the development. Nazarbayev also believes that the country has all necessary conditions for work. He said that whoever works, he does not live badly. Significantly, the statement came after oil workers of KazMunayGas Exploration & Production have been striking since late May and the authorities as well as the company found no solution for the situation.
