Montenegro's profit from tourism sector grows by 1.5% in H1 2011.

Montenegro's profit from the tourism sector grew by 1.5% y/y to EUR 118.3mn in the first half of 2011, Presscut reported citing data from the tourism ministry. The number of tourists visiting the country increased by 4% on the year to 160,077 in January to May 2011. Visitors spent 671,300 overnights in the country. Tourism minister Predrag Sekulic said recently that the country will invest some EUR 3.5bn in the construction of luxurious tourist facilities as it seeks to boost tourism revenue.
