Kazakhstan to export 8.7mn tons of grain in H1 2012.

Kazakhstan plans to export 8.7mn tons of grain in H1 2012, the Agriculture Ministry has stated. The country already exported 4.1mn tons of grain and flour in Sep-Dec. Grain export potential for 2011-2012 marketing year is estimated by the ministry at 15mn tons (150% up from previous marketing year). Kazakhstan harvested record 26.9mn tons of grain in clean weight this year.
