Foreign direct investment in Macedonia turns negative in April 2011.

The foreign direct investment in Macedonia was a net outflow of EUR 20.3mn in April, which compares with inflows of EUR 96.9mn in March and EUR 27.4mn in April 2010, according to data of the central bank. The equity capital and reinvested earnings component was a net outflow of EUR 31.1mn in April, reversing an inflow of EUR 120.8mn in the previous month. Foreign direct investment in Macedonia has surged 2.4 times y/y to EUR 186.8mn in Jan-Apr.
