EE: Estonian ICT sector profit at EUR 43.6mn in Q1.

Estonian aggregated Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) sector net profit stood at EUR 43.6mn in Q1, down from EUR 93mn a year ago. In Q1 there were total of 2,797 companies operating in the ICT sector. In Q1 ICT sector accounted for 7.5% of total business sales revenues in the country, down by 0.7pp y/y. In Q1 total sales revenues of the ICT sector stood at EUR 790.7bn. In Q1 total number of employees in the ICT sector amounted to 19,530 people, up from 17,287 people a year ago. Labour costs in ICT sector stood at EUR 96.6mn, up by 19.3% y/y.
