Bosnias engineering company Energoinvest sees EUR 133mn revenues in 2011.

By bne IntelliNews December 22, 2011
Sarajevo-based multidisciplinary engineering company Energoinvest expects revenues of BAM 260.5mn (EUR 133.2mn) this year, down from EUR 187.9mn in 2010, Dnevni avaz daily reported. Revenues realised in foreign markets are seen at BAM 36.9mn in 2011. The company expects an operating profit of BAM 0.5mn this year. Energoinvest comments that the conditions for doing business continued to be difficult this year, especially because of suspended contracts in Libya, a traditional market for the company. The conflict in this country has stopped the realisation of contracts worth about EUR 170mn. Nevertheless, Energoinvest has ongoing operations in Algeria, Ethiopia, Congo, Macedonia, Kosovo and Slovakia. In addition, intensive talks are forthcoming with investors about finalization of potential contracts in Albania and Kurdistan.
