Bank of Lithuania external assets increased by LTL 49.4mn (EUR 14.3mn) m/m in January, up to LTL 22.0bn as of end of the month, the bank announced. External liabilities grew by LTL 156.3mn m/m to LTL 215mn. Residents deposits grew by LTL 54.8mn m/m, and amounted to LTL 8.8bn as of end-Jan. Central government deposits grew by LTL 1.1bn m/m and amounted to LTL 5.0bn, while other MFI deposits declined by LTL 1.1bn m/m to LTL 3.7bn. Cash in circulation declined by LTL 278.1mn m/m and amounted to LTL 11.1bn as of end-January. Capital and reserves increased by LTL 19.8mn m/m to LTL 1.7bn as of end-January. |
