Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom expects Ukraine to buy 40bn m3 of gas in 2012, Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev has announced. Official negotiations between Ukraine and Russia to revise the price of gas are not being conducted, he added. According to Medvedev, exports to Ukraine, given that it is actively pumping gas into underground gas storages, will be about 40 bn. Last year, the contractual conditions were fulfilled, he underscored.
