Bosniak party SBiH chairman not to seek re-election.

By bne IntelliNews March 30, 2011
The chairman of the Party for BiH (SBiH), Haris Silajdzic, will not seek re-election or appointment on another governing post in the party in the forthcoming interparty vote, daily Nezavisne Novine reported. The elections are scheduled for April. We note that Silajdzic was the Bosniak member of the state tripartite presidency in the period 2006-2010. He ran again for the position in the 2010 elections, but lost the competition and in fact was the only member of the institution to not be elected for another term in office. SBiH lost significant support in the October 2010 general elections and the number of its representatives in the legislative power on state and entity level was heavily reduced.
