Serbia will raise the financial incentives for new job creation in certain towns to EUR 10,000 per job, economy minister Mladjan Dinkic announced, adding that the incentive program will be applied in towns with qualified workforce and lack of investments, such as Zajecar, Nis , Kraljevo and Novi Pazar. The amount of the previous incentive program will be doubled as of next month, economy minister added. Each incentive will depend on type of industry and effects on boosting country's exports. Job creation grants worth over EUR 610mn have been provided to over 110 companies so far since the implementation of the incentive program.  The incentive program has created more than 17,000 jobs.
