Russia's Greenwise enters Uzbek meat alternatives market

The Russian producer of meat alternatives Greenwise has entered the Uzbek market. Vladimir Popov, Deputy Governor of Russia's Kaluga Region, announced the move on his VK social network page.

With the support of the Kaluga region export centre, the company from Maloyaroslavets began supplying meat alternatives to Kazakhstan. Before that, exports to Belarus, Georgia, Vietnam and several other countries were also established.

Popov noted that Greenwise is Russia's first developer and manufacturer of plant-based alternatives to meat, fish and dairy products.

Compared to 2022, the sales volume of Greenwise on the Russian market has increased by 60%, and the degree of localisation amounted to 100%.
