One of the two stock exchanges operating in the country, NEX Montenegro, announced it had revised the weights of the companies forming its main indices, NEX 20 and NEX PIF. The bourse stated that the regular revision was conducted in line with the criteria, which were set upon the establishment of the indices. The new weights of the companies, included in NEX 20 and NEX PIF, reflect the market capitalisations and realised turnovers with shares of the companies in the past 12 months. The landline monopolist Crnogorski Telekom and power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) retained their presence in NEX 20 to the maximum 20%. Electricity distributor Prenos and commercial bank Atlasmont increased their shares in the index to 14.29% and 13.12% (from previous 10.88% and 10.34%), respectively. Apart from the mentioned companies, NEX 20 also includes oil company Jugopetrol (5.22%), cargo company Kontejnerski terminal i generalni tereti (5.09%), brewery Trebjesa (3.64%), tourist company Budvanska Rivijera (3.31%), Solana Bajo Sekulic (2.75%), Otrantkomerc (2.09), Izbor (2.02% weight), rehabilitation centre Simo Milosevic (1.82%), tourist companies HTP Ulcinjska Rivijera (1.67%), Mimoza (1.17%) and Boka (1.16%), while steel maker Niksic Steelworks, tobacco producer DKP, Montenegroexpress, Zavod za Izgradnju and retailer Napredak have each under 1% weight in the index. |
