LV: Assets of Latvian banks account for 40% of total Baltic banks' assets in June.

According to economic survey performed by SEB Bank, Latvian banks with a share of 40% had the biggest weight in total assets of commercial banks of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia as of end of May 2010. Total Baltic States banks' assets amounted to EUR 76.04bn as of end of May, flat m/m. Assets of Latvian banks amounted to EUR 30.63bn or 40% of total banks' assets, while assets of Estonian and Lithuanian banks were EUR 25.17bn and EUR 20.24bn respectively.
