Kazakhstan to ease security regime at Kyrgyz border.

Kazakhstan will ease security regime at the border with Kyrgyzstan on July 20 due to a stabilized situation on the Kyrgyz side. Kazakhstan's National Security Committee also informed that since Jul 8 it had been taking measures to restore normalcy in the border area. Kazakh-Kyrgyz border is 1,240-km long. Kazakhstan strengthened security regime at the border after a massive influx of Kyrgyz refugees. To remind you, Kyrgyzstan suffered from a revolt in April and ethnic clashed in early June.
