Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it carried out wave 56 of its "True Promise 4" operation, targeting Israeli missile reserves, a US military base in Qatar and opposition positions in northern Iraq, Tasnim reported on March 16.
The IRGC said it struck a southern regional support command and a Rafael strategic missile storage facility in northern Israel using Khorramshahr, Emad and Qadr ballistic missile systems.
The US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar was also targeted in the same wave of strikes, the IRGC statement said.
The IRGC's drone unit simultaneously attacked positions held by Kurdish opposition groups in the northern Iraqi city of Erbil.
The IRGC dedicated the operation to the late Qasem Soleimani, the former Quds Force commander killed by a US drone strike in Baghdad in 2020.
There was no immediate confirmation of the strikes from Israeli, US or Iraqi authorities.
