Hungary's fixed-line penetration stays flat at 29.7% in Nov 2012.

The market penetration of fixed-line services in Hungary, measured by the number of subscriptions per 100 people, stayed unchanged on the month at 29.7% as of end-November 2012, the National Communications Authority (NHH) informed. The penetration per households stood at 62.5%, up from 62.3% in the previous month. There were 3.015mn fixed-line subscriptions at the end of November, up by 0.2% m/m. The number of conventional landline connections decreased by 0.9% m/m to 1.93mn, while the connections through cable television networks increased by 2% m/m to 589,114.
