EC extends deadline for Hungarys farming state aid.

The European Commission authorised under the EU state aid rules the extension of a temporary Hungarian scheme to grant aid of up to EUR 15,000 per beneficiary to farmers until end-2011, the EC said in a news release. The aid aims at supporting farmers who encounter difficulties as a result of the economic crisis. The beneficiaries can apply for aid until end-March, while the domestic authorities must grant the aid by the end of the year.
