Serb PM Ivica Dacic said on Wednesday, Nov 20, US business magnate Donald Trump is interested in building an exclusive hotel in the Serbian capital Belgrade and will send in the coming two months a team of experts to look for a location.
Dacic was speaking after meeting Trump in New York, a statement posted on the government’s website said. The two of them discussed the investment possibilities in the region, in particular in the areas of interest for Trump.
Dacic said that Trump’s experts will soon visit Serbia to discuss the technical issues around finding a location for a hotel within the Trump International Hotel brand in Belgrade – which speaks about the big interest the investor has in such a project.
Dacic added that during the talks Trump also indicated interest in other sectors of the Serbian economy, including energy.
