Real estate project Bildi worth in total CZK125mn (€4.8mn) attracted the most money in the history of Czech crowdfunding. Via the Fundlift platform, it gathered over CZK13mn from 290 investors, business daily E15 reported on July 18.
The Bildi project will build 54 flats in family houses near the city of Hradec Kralove in northern Bohemia. The company promises investors a yield of 7% pa; the lowest investment is CZK5,000.
“According to volume, it is the biggest ever online crowdfunding campaign in Czechia. It aims for CZK20mn; let’s see how far it can get,” Fundlift general director Radek Musil said.
The original aim of the campaign was CZK10mn. The yield before taxation from the project should be CZK27mn.
The Fundlift platform aims at big crowdfunding campaigns and dominates the market in them. The Bildi project surpassed the previously largest campaign by CZK2.5mn.
