Albania eases business registration procedures.

The Albanian government has approved legislative changes, which aim to simplify the documentation required for business registration at the National Registration Centre, the cabinets press office said in a statement. The authorities have set the reduction of the number and the cost of business registration procedures as a key priority in their regulatory reform, which aims to improve the investment climate in the country. The government also plans to shorten the ownership registration procedures and the time to receive building permits. Further reforms will be introduced in the fields of implementation of contracts and insolvency procedures, while the authorities have vowed also to raise investors protection in Albania.
