Dutch digital agency Dept acquires Croatian IT company Blazing Edge

Dutch digital agency Dept has taken over Croatian IT company Blazing Edge, aiming to make the country its regional business hub, Tportal reported on July 16. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.

“We have been monitoring the development of the industry in Croatia for a long time and we are pleased that we now have offices in Zagreb and Split, becoming part of the Croatian market,” Dept’s CEO Dimi Albers said as quoted by Tportal.

Dept carried out the acquisition by taking over US company Rocket Insights, which bought Blazing Edge the at end of 2019.

Dept opened an office in the Croatian capital Zagreb around two years ago.

Dept has more than 20 offices in 13 countries in Europe and US and over 2,000 employees.
