The Czech internet leader Seznam.cz posted year-on-year growth in net profit of 13% to CZK1.33bn (€52.4mn) in 2020, with revenues going up by 5.5% to CZK4.95bn, according to the company's annual report.

An increase in e-commerce during the pandemic led to a significant growth of the number of users of its online service Zbozi.cz comparing products and e-sellers. Zbozi.cz increased its revenues by 35% y/y last year.

Therefore, the company has created a new e-commerce division this year, which has been headed by Lukas Behun, Zbozi.cz's former product manager, since September.
