Serbia seeks to boost ties with Kazakhstan.

Serbia is seeking to boost ties with Kazakhstan. Serbian president Boris Tadic visited Kazakhstan seeking investment opportunities. Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev suggested that Serbian companies take part in the implementation of the Kazakh state programme of accelerated industrial-innovative development for 2010-2014. The parties also exchanged opinion on making more efficient use of transport-transit potential of Kazakhstan and Serbia as part of efforts aimed at increasing trade between Europe and Asia. Moreover, opportunities for cooperation between Serbian and the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) were discussed.
