The total value of potential Russian investments in Montenegro could reach up to EUR 0.5bn in 2010 as Russian businessmen consider the country an attractive place for investment, participants at the Montenegrin-Russian investment forum in Becici said. Russian investors appeared to be the most interested in construction and tourism but no particular projects were mentioned. Russian companies and businessmen invested a total of EUR 66mn in development projects in the country in 2009, which made Russia Montenegro's third-biggest investor for the year.
