Montenegro, Germany sign cooperation agreement.

Representatives of the Montenegrin and German governments signed a cooperation agreement on Wednesday (Oct 13), the cabinet press office said. Germany is to provide financial assistance worth EUR 21mn under the accord. The funds will finance Montenegro's efforts to reach the EU standards, mainly in the field of energy efficiency. The signed protocol also envisages a potential EUR 20mn loan agreement with the German development bank KfW.
