Market capitalisation of Montenegro stock exchange down by 6.6% y/y in August.

The market capitalisation of Montenegro stock exchange dropped by 6.6% y/y to EUR 2.71bn in August, according to data published on the website of the exchange. The MONEX20 index closed the month at 8,442.13, plunging by 21% compared to August 2011. The MONEX PIF index rose by 12.5% in a month but lost 18.9% of its value in a year. The turnover on the stock exchange at the same time increased by 122.4% y/y to EUR 4.9mn in August.
