Kazakhstan wants to enter WTO before end of 2012.

During the third economic forum, "Expert-100-Kazakhstan,PM Karim Masimov said Kazakhstan was planning to enter the WTO before the end of 2012. Earlier it was the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev who declared that the country would join the WTO by the end of 2012. PM expressed his belief that Kazakhstan should join the organization soon adding that the Russian Federation is already very close to finalize accession. For Kazakhstan it would be possible to take this step in the next 12 months, he said. In his opinion being a part of Common Economic Space is not contrary to the principles of global competition and involvement in global processes.
