Kazakhstan cancels agreement on Astana International Airport trust management.

Kazakhstan cancelled an agreement to transfer the Astana International Airport into trust management of Malaysia Management & Technical Services, a subsidiary of Malaysia Airport Holding. No explanation for the decision was given. To remind you, the Malaysian company received trust management right in 2007. Astana hosts the second largest airport in the country after Almaty. Presently, a state body (the owner of the airport is Astana akimat) will manage the airport.
