EU urges Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to open borders with Kyrgyzstan.

The EU urged Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to open borders with Kyrgyzstan as soon as possible. The statement was made at the conference of EU Troika and Central Asian stated. The EU wants the border to be open in order to alleviate situation in Kyrgyzstan , which is not able to import grain from Kazakhstan . To remind you, Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev was overthrown on Apr 7 in violent riots. Presently, the opposition is in power and the situation remains unstable.
