EBRD provides USD 3mn to finance SMEs in Kazakhstan.

The EBRD is providing USD 3mn loan in local currency to MCO Arnur Credit for on-lending to SMEs and individual entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan. The funds will help Arnur Credit to expand its lending portfolio to rural areas. Arnur Capital is headquartered in Shymkent and is one of the leading micro finance organizations in Kazakhstan. The EBRD has invested USD 6.15bn into various projects in Kazakhstan since beginning its operations in the country.
