Czech used car dealer AAA Auto says Jan-Sept sales up 14.4%.

The Czech Republics largest used car dealer AAA Auto sold 33,878 cars in the first nine months of 2011, up 14.4% y/y, the company said on its website. Sales on the domestic market grew by 13.8% on the year to 25,045 cars. Sales in Slovakia climbed by 16% y/y to 8,836 cars in nine-month period. In the third quarter alone, AAA Auto sold 11,640 cars, by 8% more than a year ago which is the best quarterly result since 2008. The company operates 25 outlets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. AAA Autos net profit grew 45% y/y to EUR 700,000 in the first quarter of 2011, as revenue surged 61% to EUR 63.3mn. The company cut in May its full-year sales growth outlook to 5% from 10% as demand for used cars is falling as the economy gains speed.
