Czech Centropol Energy doubles 9mo sales as clients rise.

Czech power and gas supplier Centropol Energy doubled its sales to CZK 4bn (EUR 158mn) in the first nine months of 2012 mainly on the back of expanding client's base, CTK news agency reported. In Jan-Sep the company attracted 35,000 new clients and now supplies electricity to 270,000 customers and gas to 50,000 customers. Centropol Energy reiterated full-year sales target of CZK 6bn, the company's media representative Martin Jonas said. Centrol Energy entered the energy market in 2007 and is now competing with major players CEZ Distribuce, E.ON and Prazska Energetika (PRE).
