BH Airlines resumes flights after Bosnian arm of Hypo Bank unblocks accounts.

By bne IntelliNews March 15, 2013
Bosnias flag carrier BH Airlines resumed regular flights on Wednesday, March 13, after Bosnian unit of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International unblocked the companys accounts, daily Dnevni Avaz reported. In February, local arm of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank has blocked the accounts of BH Airlines over outstanding debt and delays in the payment of a leasing loan, via which the air carrier has bought two aircrafts. As a result, BH Airlines fleet has been grounded earlier in March. BH Airlines is solely owned by Bosnias Muslim-Croat Federation after Turkish airlines pulled out from a joint venture in June 2011 and transferred its 49% to the government.
