Ukraine International Airlines posted UAH 200mn (USD 25mn) loss for 2010. According to MP Yevhen Marmazov, who chairs the special parliamentary regulatory commission on privatization, the company's revenues amounted to UAH 2.4bn in 2010. At the same time, the airline's president Yurii Miroshnykov pointed out that these figures were preliminary and that the exact financial figures would be known in April after a financial audit of the company. Miroshnykov said that these figures were due to an increase in costs and the negative figures for charter and domestic flights. The company finished 2009 with net profit of UAH 7.9mn, when its net revenues from provision of services increased by 15.79% y/y to UAH 2.2bn. Ukraine International Airlines was founded in 1992.
