The net profit of Turkish Ziraat Banks Bosnian unit shrank by 50.5% y/y to KM 0.8mn (EUR 0.4mn), online server Beta.ba announced. Ziraat Bank Bosnia s total assets amounted to KM 154.1mn at end-December, having increased by 4.4% y/y. The bank provided credits worth KM 87.7mn, down by 8.4% y/y, while it attracted deposits worth KM 82.4mn, up by 7.5% y/y. The bank, whose capital was raised by 1.2% y/y to KM 68mn, has 11 local branches. The lender was the first bank in BiH founded with foreign capital (1997) and issued the first Visa card in the country (1999). The sole shareholder of the bank is Turkish Ziraat Bankasi.
