Turkish diversified group Limak Holding is reportedly interested in acquiring a stake in Montenegrin airport operator Aerodrom Crne Gore, newswire seebiz.eu reported quoting an unnamed government official. Aerodrom Crne Gore operates the countrys two international airports in Podgorica and Tivat. Limak has also shown interest in a former military airfield in Berane. According to earlier media reports, Israeli air carrier El Al was also willing to buy a stake in the airports operator. We remind that a consortium comprising Limak Holding and France's Aeroport de Lyon won a 20-year concession in 2010 to operate the Pristina airport, the sole international airport of Montenegro's eastern neighbour Kosovo.
