Slovenian majority state-owned telecommunication operator Telekom Slovenije will inject EUR 40mn in its wholly-owned Macedonian subsidiary ONE (formerly Cosmofon), Dnevnik daily reports. ONE is the first player in Macedonia to offer a complete range of telecommunication services: fixed line, mobile, Internet as well as the countrys first digital TV wireless service. Through the investment of EUR 40mn Telekom Slovenije aims to continue the development of all of the above services. Reportedly the Supervisory Board of the Slovenian company has approved the capital injection, although an official announcement has not been made yet. ONEs performance has been allegedly especially promising in the third quarter of this year, which also contributed to the decision for investing. |
