The Siemens group companies operating in Slovakia reported an 8% y/y increase of turnover to EUR 713.2mn for the 2009/2010 financial year that ended on September 30, the company said on its website. The positive development of revenues was triggered mainly by the supply of technologies for the electronic road toll collection system and for the new 430MW steam-gas power plant in Malzenice. Siemens Slovakia employed 4,684 people at the end of September and invested a total EUR 10mn in the country in FY 2009/2010. The group operates 12 companies in the country.
