Serbia privatization revenues at EUR 2.63bn in 2002-2011.

Since the beginning of the privatization process in Serbia in 2002 a total of 2,385 companies were sold and the revenues amounted to some EUR 2.63bn, Tajug news agency reported citing data from the Privatization Agency. Pledged investments in privatized companies were worth EUR 1.13bn and the social programmes were EUR 276.7mn. Some 66% of all privatization deals were closed successfully. In 2002 to 2011, around 630 privatisation contracts were terminated.
