Russian lender VTB Bank interested in investment banking in Turkey.

VTB Bank wants to be active in Turkeys investment banking market, Andrei Kostin, chairman of the Russian lender, said. Commenting on Sberbanks possible acquisition of the Turkish bank Denizbank, Kostin said that Turkish banks were attractive for the Russian lenders but VTB currently was not considering acquiring a bank in Turkey. Sberbank reportedly offered USD 2.7-2.9bn for Denizbank.
