Real estate C&W sees rising demand for logistics property in eastern Slovakia.

By bne IntelliNews July 13, 2010
Demand for logistics property in eastern Slovakia was improving after the economic crisis and several development projects had been already launched, according to a report of real estate consultancy Cushman&Wakefield (C&W). Investor interest was specifically concentrated in the areas of the large regional centres Presov and Kosice. C&W added that the highest supply of modern industrial space was offered in the western part of the country around the capital Bratislava and the neighbouring region Trnava. The top location in this respect was the village of Senec close to the main D1 highway. On the other hand, the supply of logistics facilities in central Slovakia was considered to be insufficient and C&W attributed the imbalances on the market to the weaker infrastructure development in some regions of the country.
