President Zuma announces South African Broadcasting Corporation board

PresidentJacob Zuma announced the new South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC)board, Sapa reported. Ben Ngubane, former minister of arts, culture, scienceand technology and former ambassador to Japan, is the new chairperson. Hisdeputy is Felleng Sekha, a former chairperson of the Independent BroadcastingAuthority and the National Telecommunications Forum. The SABC has alsoappointed former Telkom Media chief content officer, Solly Mokoetle, as its newCEO. Mokoetle has a proven track record from the time the SABC was profitable;he was the SABCs COO from 2001-2006.
