Poland's July unemployment rate eases to 11.7%.

Poland's labour ministry estimated that the country's unemployment rate eased to 11.7% in July from 11.8% in June. The number of jobless persons narrowed by 1.1% over the month to 1.863 million as at end-July in the country of 38 million. The number of new job offers stood at 63,100. In terms of regional distribution, the unemployment rate narrowed in 12 of the country's 16 regions.
