Montenegro's VAT revenues behind plans in Jan-Oct.

By bne IntelliNews November 14, 2012
Montenegro received 4.7% lower VAT revenues than planned in the first ten months of the year, portalanalitika.me informed, quoting the finance ministry as saying. In October alone, VAT revenues were 9.5% higher than the planned for the month and the ministry expects that VAT inflows will advance and meet projections by the end of the year. Montenegro's budget revenues reached EUR 98.3mn in October, up by 8.3% y/y and exceeding the plan by 1%. The strong result during the month contributed to acceleration of cumulative budget revenues and compensated for the weak first quarter performance. Collected revenues in Jan-Oct however remained at their year-ago levels.
