According to data of the statistics office, the index of the number of employees in industry increased by 1.9% y/y in July, slowing down from 3.3% y/y in June. As recalled, industrial production dropped by 1.8% y/y in June, but rose 5.5% y/y in July. The annual increases in employment in mining, manufacturing and utilities reached 3.1%, 1.5% and 4.7% respectively. Industrial employment increased by 2.1% y/y in Jan-Jul. |
