Macedonia interested in alternatives to Nabucco gas pipeline.

Macedonia is interested in an alternative to the Nabucco gas pipeline, namely one passing through Turkey, Greece and Italy, local media MIA reported quoting Deputy PM Vladimir Pesevski as saying at the sidelines of the 13th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul. Pesevski pointed out the source diversification as the main reason for the countrys interest. The gas supplies could come from Azerbaijan and Iran, Pesev said adding that this a project in a preliminary stage.
