LT: Lithuanian Railroads most valuable company in Lithuania.

According to Top 100 most valuable companies in Lithuania in 2011 ranking formed by investment banking company GILD Bankers the number one most valuable company in Lithuania is Lithuanian Railroads. Lithuanian Railroads overtook the leader of the ranking in 2010 - Maxima Group, a retail chain. Maxima group was valued at LTL 2.8bn (EUR 0.8bn) losing LTL 1.3bn of value comparing y/y, which was mainly due to worse financial results, Karolis Pocius, partner of GILD Corporate Finance indicated. Lithuanian Railroads value increased by LTL 0.3bn y/y to LTL 3.0bn, according to the ranking. Third came Swedbank followed by SEB bank. In fifth place came telecom company TEO LT, followed by fertilizers manufacturer Lifosa, energy company LESTO, oil company Orlen Lietuva, fertilizers manufacturer Achema, and Lietuvos Dujos, natural gas importer.
