LT: Lithuanian airports handle 1.9mn of passengers in 2009.

Lithuanian airports handled total of 1.9mn of passengers in 2009, which indicates 26.8% y/y decline. In December passengers traffic amounted to 138,000, which indicates 4.9% y/y decline and 3.1% m/m decline. Outbound passengers traffic amounted to 928,000 in 2009, down by 27.1% y/y, while inbound passengers traffic stood at 940,600, down by 26.5% y/y. Cargo volume in Lithuanian airports amounted to 7.2mn tonnes, which indicates 34% y/y decline. Lithuanian airlines carried total of 675,000 passengers in 2009, which indicates 41.9% y/y decline.
