Lithuanian airspace was closed due volcanic ash cloud from Friday, April 16 th 15:00 , but the restrictions were lifted on Sunday evening. Yet, Civil Aviation Administration ( CAA ) head Kestutis Auryla, said that the lift of restrictions could be temporary, depending on the weather conditions, and that currently all the liabilities for the decision to flight goes to the pilots. Only one plane was scheduled for Sunday, a late evening plane from Moscow . All other flights were cancelled throughout the weekend.
