LT: Bank of Lithuania external assets down by EUR 166mn m/m in April.

Bank of Lithuanian announced that its external assets declined by LTL 571.8mn (EUR 166mn) m/m in April, and amounted to LTL 17.1bn as of end-April. The banks external liabilities increased by LTL 55.6mn m/m in April, and amounted to LTL 639mn as of end-April. Cash in circulation as of end-April amounted to LTL 8.8bn, which indicates increase of LTL 172.7mn m/m. Residents deposits with the Bank of Lithuania declined by LTL 750.5mn m/m in April, and amounted to LTL 5.5bn as of end of the month. Central government deposits with the Bank of Lithuania declined by LTL 673.1mn m/m in April, and amounted to LTL 2.8bn as of end-April. Other MFI deposits declined by LTL 77.6mn m/m in April, and amounted to LTL 2.6bn as of end-April.
